In 100-200 words, write a first-person narrative (a story written from your point of view) of what your day would be like if you had just been born into your current body today. If today were your first day of life, how would you react? What would seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling things be like? Would you know to eat or drink? Would you know what to eat or drink? How would you react to other people? How would they react to you? How would you try to communicate? Think through what you would and wouldn't be able to do as a new person in a 17 or 18-year-old's body. Be creative.

Beep Beep Beeeeeeep! My eyes open for the very frist time, where am I and who am I go through my mind. The rakit that gave me birth came from a small glowing object, as i tuched the objects surface it changed and the nosie stopped. I get off of the plate form to watch I was born, and a cool brezze hits my face. It was comeing out of a meatle object that spone around with a great speed. As I walked across the cold wood floor, I came to a door I struggled for awhile to open it. When i was out of the room that gave me life I looked around and saw a wooden hill that lead to a lower level and a white room on my left. The white room was covered in a smooth white rock, the floor was cold on my skin. I found a bowl full of water it had a yellow tent to it unlike the bowl next to it, I swished the water around with my hands and drank it in. After some time of pulling nobs in levers in this room water was coming from everywhere. When an older lady came and screamed as she saw me drinking from the yellow bowl, I ran down the wooden hill and in to the road where a large object hit me. And my short life had eneded.
ReplyDeleteBoom light hits me for the very first time. I jump up and had no idea where I was or what i'm doing here. I wanted to yell for help but all that came out of my mouth was the sound of a baby crying. I was so confused. How could I possibly sound like a baby when i look like im 17 years old. Once my focus was back I started to look around and saw these huge structures pointing to the sky. As I was walking with my head up I heard this loud noice slowly getting closer to me. Ten minutes later I was waking up again but this time with a crowd of people around me asking me if I was ok. I nodded my head, stood up, and kept moving on. As I continued walking I started smelling something wonderful from across the road. So I went in and saw what I was smelling it was pizza. I had no money so I just grabbed some and left thankfully without getting caught. While I was eating this food people started to look at me like I was an idiot. I guess it was how I eating. Smearing it all over my face seemed perfectly normal to me. After I got to many bad looks I started to cry and run away, and never return.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this? Could this all be a dream? I wake up in the middle of a class in a school full of kids in uniform and I am a senior in high school. What does all this mean? What is this life I have spawned into mean? I touch my book as someone looks at me and asks "What are you doing?" I don't even know what to say, how do I speak? Trying to speak for the first time made me a sound like I was an infant. I walk outside and the sun hits my face for the very first time. Wow, its hot! The only thing I know is that inside it feels much better than it does out here in the heat. I get to my car and don't know how to unlock the door. I call someone over to show me how to do this and they laugh in my face, exclaiming "Really?" followed by bunches of laughter. Turning on the car took about 10 minutes finding how to start it. Leaving school took another 10 minutes figuring out how to drive. I use the gps on my phone and find out it's quite useful. Driving past a big factory i can smell a very sweet smell. This was the smell of the Leesburg orange factory. As I was driving I also something that smelt good in my mind. I drive to the golden arches and purchased a Mcdouble, the lady inside told me that was the best choice if I wanted something cheap. So, I pulled all the money from my wallet and left it there, not knowing what it was. This was the greatest feeling I have had in my entire 1 day of life, I will definitely be coming here often after today. As the day goes by I slowly start to fade from my body and find out that living after death is even better than living life.
ReplyDeleteI was born into Chipotle. I opened my eyes. I closed my eyes for that light hurt my eyes. Just for curiosity, i opened my eyes again. And i see a mexican lady eating a super size chicken burrito with avocado in it. My brain told me that i was born to love avocado. I do love avocado and i want that burrito too. That mexican lady was a little bit stunned because i was staring at her burrito for too long. I was starving and i did not even know how to talk. I did not have money with me either. By the end of the day, i fainted in Chipotle because of the hunger.
ReplyDeleteI open my eyes for the first time. I'm in a white square, I'm laying down on a very soft rectangle covered by a thin cloth. There is circle on the top of the square that is much brighter than anything else. I stand up and begin to walk towards a hole in the square. I walk out of the square into a really long rectangle. I begin to walk down the hallway. I find a hole at the end of the rectangle and walk through it. This place was much different, it wasn't enclosed and very quickly I found a liquid on my forehead, yet there was no place it could of came from. Did it come from me? I looked to the right and saw a table with others like me around it. They were consuming something round that seemed to have three layers. When I walked over and started to do the same they seemed to get angry. One of the bigger creatures started to walk away, after a few seconds he came back with a creature much smaller than me and covered in hair. The creature was showing long sharp teeth. Once it was let go it came at me with amazing speed. I turned to run but didn't get far before I fell onto a hard object and red fluid starts rushing from my head and my vision began to go dark. The fury creature had made its way to me and was attacking. I suddenly felt weak and couldn't move. before I could realize what was going on I was dead.
