So, tell me. Just what is the importance of being Earnest? Hm...

ReplyDeleteFirst I have to ask dose he Marrie Gwendolen? I mean really that's a wird ending Wilde, everyone hugs end of story come on. Well it's important for Jack to be Earnest for one because he wants to marrie Gwendloen and she said she couldn't love a Jack or John because the name was boring and lacked a musical ring, two he must be "earnest" in becoming engaged to Gwendloen for she like Cecily are both inpatient, three Jack more so then Algernon must have the name Earnest because that was his fathers name. Now Algernon wants to be Earnest for Cecily only cares for that name
and hates waiting for even five minutes as she says.
